A few weeks ago Director of Zebra Uno & Zebra Access Marilyn Willrich and 6 other people had the honour of visiting Municipal Education, a charity committed to supporting young orphans in Ciego de Avila, Cuba.

General Sub-Director Gladys Ruiz Marrero welcomed everybody and then gave a tour of the organisation whilst introducing the voluntary staff. The charity supports 45 orphans in Ciego de Avila, ranging from 4 to 14 years old. Sadly they could not meet the children as it was school term but were assured that the all of the children would be very grateful to receive a Deaffest goodie bag full of little surprises when they got back from school!
