Book Now for National Youth Film Festival & Enter Awards

Running from 21st October – 8th November, this UK-wide festival for youth groups and schools provides free screenings, Q&A’s and workshops for young people across the UK.

The National Youth Film Festival will also feature its very own Awards and there’s a number of ways in which you can become involved.

Submit a film Why not submit a short film? Films of up to 10 minutes can be submitted into a range of categories. Further details can be found on the website which also features a handy upload facility – it couldn’t be easier!

Nominate a Young Person The Festival is looking to celebrate stars of the future, so if you know of a young person has demonstrated exceptional talent or commitment, nominate them for the ‘Ones to Watch’ Award.

Nominate your film group Are you using film in an interesting or innovative way? Do you have insightful debates when watching film? Then you could be a contender for the ‘Best Film Club’ Award. Or perhaps your filmmaking has had a transformative effect on an individual or community? Then the ‘Best Use of Film in the Community Award’ could be yours.

Deadlines for applications is 11 October 2013 and there’s more information, application forms etc on The National Youth Film Festival website.
