The new grant programme will offer funding for organisations to work with a minimum of 20 young people aged 14-19 who are NOT in formal education in projects that combine watching, making and understanding of film.

Organisations can apply for a grant of up to £10,000 to create two short films as part of the project. These should also include extensive film watching and understanding activity such as staging mini festivals, screenings and masterclasses.

Applicants will be required to set up a Film Club at the beginning of their project which will help to source film content and resources to support the watching and learning elements of the project.

Further information, guidelines and FAQs can be accessed via the website.
