Planning Your Visit to Cornwall Mini Deaffest 2023

A reminder that Cornwall Mini Deaffest will be taking place at two different venues.

During the day (10am to 4pm) the venue will be Cornwall College St Austell, Tregonissey Road, Saint Austell PL25 4DJ and in the evening (7pm onwards) the venue will be the Britannia Inn, St Austell Road, Par PL24 2SL.

Access

BSL interpreters will be provided at the festival.

Both venues have wheelchair access.

Accommodation

If you have a tent or campervan (not caravan) – you are welcome to stay on the field located next to the Britannia Inn (St Austell Rd, Par PL24 2SL) for free during the Cornwall Mini Deaffest weekend.

This is a non-electrical site, toilet facilities are available.

If you would prefer to stay in a hotel or B&B, there are plenty to check out on Google!

Car Park

It is free to park your vehicle at Britannia Inn and Cornwall College St Austell (Tregonissey Rd, Saint Austell PL25 4DJ). You can find useful information about car parking here!

Tickets for Cornwall Mini Deaffest 2023 are available to buy online until 6am on Friday the 22nd of September. After this time, subject to ticket availability, you can buy your ticket on the door (CASH ONLY) at Cornwall Mini Deaffest’s stall, which will be based at Cornwall College on the 23rd of September.

FYI – there isn’t a cashpoint located near the daytime venue (Cornwall College), but there is one near the evening venue (Britannia Inn).

Tickets are non-refundable.

If you are interested in getting involved in any of the workshops at Cornwall Mini Deaffest on Saturday the 23rd of September 2023, please book your place in at the Cornwall Mini Deaffest stall at Cornwall College. First come, first served!

It is advised that those who will be attending Cornwall Mini Deaffest on Saturday the 23rd of September (daytime) bring their own food as the venue (Cornwall College St Austell) only sells beverages.
