Lydia Mackett to perform at Deaffest 2022

Lydia Mackett is a 21 year old performer, based in Hampshire. Born with severe hearing loss in both ears, she has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been studying various dance styles, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, street, hip hop, latin, and many more. Lydia graduated from Performers College in 2021 and aspires to perform with artists, in music videos, and on cruise ships! Her proudest achievement was her performance at the Wembley Euros Final Ceremony 2020 (2021).

Lydia will be one of the performers at the Film & TV Awards Gala on Saturday 7th May 2022!

Filming and photography notice

Filming and photography by the Deaffest media team will take place throughout the weekend Friday 6th May to Sunday 8th May 2022. If you do not wish to be filmed/ photographed, please inform a member of the Deaffest team.

BBC’s See Hear will be filming during Deaffest on Saturday 7th May 2022.  If you do not wish to be filmed/ photographed for BBC’s See Hear, please inform a member of the BBC’s See Hear team (wearing BBC lanyard).
