Nikki is also Co-Director of Zebra Uno Limited, established in 2003 – a successful company with its core focus in digital media and communication.

In addition to achieving a degree, along with other post graduate qualifications in Sign Language Translation, and Relay-Intralingual Interpreting, Nikki has worked in the field of media for over 20 years, undertaking various roles including BSL consultant, producer, presenter, and in-vision interpreter, all within the broadcasting industry (i.e. Channel 4, BBC, and other channels). Nikki has also project managed and delivered a wide range of media related private/corporate/public projects.

Being Deaf, and coming from a Deaf family spanning three generations, Nikki has lived experience, an in-depth insight, and authentic understanding of the barriers and frustrations that Deaf individuals and communities face on a daily basis.
