Deaffest

Producers Jack Smallwood and Matthew Shaw presented a challenge in April to a group of media volunteers – is it possible to make a short mockumentary about Deaffest 2016 in 72 hours? The ‘Oh Sugar! team worked hard doing the filming and editing over the Deaffest weekend and we’re delighted to share the completed mockumentary – we hope you enjoy it!

Directors Nikki Stratton and Marilyn Willrich and PR Liaison Officer Louise Buglass went on a trip to St Matthias School (formerly known as Deansfield Community School) to talk about Deaffest and also to present two students with a certificate for achieving 2^nd and 3^rd places in our Young Deaffest Poster Competition!
