The FIRST ever music video that Deaffest has created I Believe is among the official selection for the London Cinematic International Film Festival!
The music video involved a collaboration of two amazingly talented Deaf professional artists from the UK and US – Chris Fonseca and Rosa Lee Timm. The NDCS’s young deaf people joined in creating a signed version of the song I Believe by Yolande Adams.
I Believe will be shown at the festival on Tuesday 3rd April at Benihana Chelsea, 77 King’s Road, London SW3 4NX at 2pm. Further details available here.

Last year we shared some exciting information about our Deaffest Co-Founders Nikki Stratton and Marilyn Willrich, when they took a trip to Shanghai! They worked in partnership with the organisation that set up the first ever Shanghai International Deaf Film Festival (SHIDFF), while also supporting them by offering their expertise.
This is a warm welcome from SHIDFF’s Founding Director, Zheng Xiaosan/Sam Zheng.
The SHIDFF will be held on from the 21st to 23rd of September 2018, and you can visit their website to find out more about the festival.
The festival is currently accepting film submissions and the deadline is the 15th July 2018.
