Award winning filmmaker Louis Neethling will be amongst the inspiring role models leading workshops at the Deaf Youth Film and Performance Academy.

Louis has been working in film and television for over 20 years and has produced some fantastic films, as well as a comedy sitcom ‘Small World’, which will be shown on the telly next week!

By making the Deaf Youth Film and Performance Academy happen, the young deaf people involved will have the opportunity to learn about filmmaking from an expert like Louis!

Please do share about our project and let’s make the Academy happen for young deaf people!

We shared the news last week that our music video I Believe would be shown at the London Cinematic International Film Festival and we’re delighted to say that it’s been recognised as the winner of the Best Music Video!

The music video, directed by Bim Ajadi, involved a collaboration of two amazingly talented Deaf professional artists from the UK and US – Chris Fonseca and Rosa Lee Timm. The NDCS’s young deaf people joined in creating a signed version of the song I Believe by Yolande Adams.
