  • Tickets are limitednon-refundable, and sold first come, first served.
  • Tickets cannot be reserved.
  • Buy early to avoid disappointment.

Buying Your Ticket

  • For ticket purchases, please buy through Deaffest’s official People’s Fundraising Page. We strongly advise against purchasing from any other sources due to the risk of scams.
  • Please check that your details are correct and entered in the proper fields (e.g., postcode in the postal code field, not your street address)
  • A confirmation email will be sent after purchase (check spam/junk if not received).
  • Bring your confirmation email (phone or print) to collect your wristband.

Deaffest returns to where it all began – the iconic LockWorks Cinema – to launch its 16th edition with a bold, immersive celebration of Deaf culture across film, fashion, music and performance.

Setting the tone with the 2026 theme Sign in Style, the opening night is tailored as a visually led creative programme that unfolds on screen, on stage and throughout the space.  From a high-energy courtyard launch featuring DJ Nico DiMarco and live performances to fashion and visual expression taking centre stage as powerful forms of storytelling and identity, the evening promises a dynamic and inspiring experience.

Curated film screenings across the cinema screens are woven together with opportunities to connect with creatives and audiences, all set within in a vibrant social atmosphere – complete with complimentary light refreshments.

Both time slots show the same premiere films. Screening times differ due to cinema capacity. Please buy ONE ticket per person.

Each ticket gives you:

  • One premiere screening time – either 8:00pm or 9:30pm

The premiere screening lasts approximately 55 minutes.

Deaffest 2026 | 10th Film & TV Awards Gala & Late-Night Party

Times: 7:00pm – 4:00am

Location: University of Wolverhampton at The Halls, North Street, Wolverhampton WV1 1RD

Age: 18+ only (ID required)

Dress code: Gala Attire – suits or tailored smart wear, cocktail or elegant evening attire.

Saturday night takes centre stage as Deaffest hosts the 10th Film & TV Awards Gala during its 16th festival edition – a night where Sign in Style comes alive from the red carpet to the screen.

With confident glamour and striking visual expression leading the way, the evening celebrates film, fashion and storytelling sharing the same runway, where every look and performance becomes part of the story.

Hosted by the Masters of Ceremonies John Smith and Jean St Clair, the Awards recognise excellence across 11 Film & TV categories, with live UK and international performances threaded throughout the evening, highlighting bold talent and fearless creativity.

As the ceremony concludes, the celebration continues with a Late-Night Party led by exciting hosts, DJ Nico DiMarco and performers – an invitation to keep dancing, connecting, and celebrating storytelling, culture and creativity, and to experience Deaffest in full style.
