I had a brilliant time at Deaf fest – thanks so much – my personal highlight was ‘the dance’ at the start of the awards – genius!! All the presenters on the night were fab – and the gala night on Friday too. One minor comment – when the nominated films are shown for the individual awards it would be good if both the Production Company and the Commissioner comes up – with all the other mainstream awards this is how they are credited, not with individuals names on categories like best programme (unless its for best presenter / actor). Also with the bars – it was great you had interpreters behind the bars but the service was really slow – I wonder if it would be possible to train the interpreters to actually serve to help with the queues? Or have a more visual menu that could be used without needing an interpreter?
