12.30pm – 1.15pm: Outdoor Children’s Activity – Cornwall Fire and Police Services

1.15pm – 2.55pm: Introduction & Film Screenings by Deaffest on Tour – The Keay Theatre (doors open from 1.10pm and will close at 1.25pm. No entry after this time). View the list of films here!

3.00pm – 4.00pm: Workshop Five – BSL 999 Presentation by SignVideo

3.00pm – 4.00pm: Workshop Six – BSL Children’s Drama Studio

If you are interested in getting involved in any of the workshops at Cornwall Mini Deaffest on Saturday the 23rd of September 2023, please book your place in at the Cornwall Mini Deaffest stall at Cornwall College. First come, first served!


7pm – 12am – £15 Entry (must be 18 or over to attend)

7.00pm: Doors Open (doors close at 8.30pm)

8.00pm – 11.00pm: Join us at The Britannia Inn for Cornwall Mini Deaffest’s evening event, which will be hosted by Donna Mullings! The evening will include entertainment by Stephen Smith as Captain Smithy and Stephen Robinson as DeafMimo. With our 15th anniversary approaching, we will also be screening a clip on Deaffest’s history, including some interesting facts and a Q&A session with the Deaffest team! 

12.00am: End of Festival

We have a few stalls available – if you are interested in being a stall-holder at Cornwall Mini Deaffest on the 23rd of September 2023, let me know and we will provide you with more information.

  • £3 daytime entry for age 17+
  • Free daytime entry for age 16 and under
  • £15 evening entry for ages 18+ (including a FREE raffle ticket with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes up for grabs!)
  • Tickets are available online until Friday the 22nd of September at 6am. After this time, you can get your tickets on the door on the 23rd of September (subject to ticket availability) – cash only.

There isn’t a cashpoint located near the daytime venue (Cornwall College), but there is one near the evening venue (Britannia Inn).

Tickets are non-refundable.
