The Cornwall Mini Deaffest 2023 quiz night took place on Saturday 10th June with a great turnout!
Hosted by Co-Founder of Deaffest Marilyn Willrich, Jackie Woodburn and Manda Woodburn, the Quiz Night took place at Vara Hotel in Truro to fundraise for Cornwall Mini Deaffest 2023.
The atmosphere was buzzing where about 30 participants put on their thinking caps ready for the questions from Quiz Masters Jackie and Manda. The quiz covered general knowledge, guessing the face of celebrities and Deaf related subjects. One of the highlights that night was the fingerspelling pictures! In the interval there was plenty of socialising and a thrilling tombola draw!
Congratulations to the Duo Team/ Paul Pycroft and Debbie Thomas for achieving first place and for so generously donating the money towards Cornwall Mini Deaffest. Round of applause/ handwaves also go to those who won second and third places.
