Deaffest is the UK’s leading Deaf-led Film & Arts Festival showcasing the talents of deaf artists, filmmakers and media professionals worldwide.
With Deaffest’s 15th Biennial festival taking place in Wolverhampton, UK, on 10th-12th May 2024, emerging and established UK and international filmmakers are invited to submit their film(s) to the Film & TV Awards 2024.
For many years Deaffest has been proudly supporting deaf filmmakers and artists from the UK and around the globe. Deaffest strives to champion not just the films, but also the talents of deaf filmmakers, actors, writers and more by providing a unique platform.
So, whether your film is a short film, feature length, documentary, artistic, etc., and you want a chance of having it shown on the big screen then submit your film to Deaffest.
The Deaffest Film and TV Awards 2024 has 11 award categories. If you do not wish to submit your film to the award categories, there is also a non-competition category.
To enter for the Film & TV Awards and Non-Competition Category – you must be 18 or over to apply.

EARLYBIRD DEADLINE – Friday 10th November, 2023 by 5pm (GMT) FREE if received by 10th November 2023.
FINAL DEADLINE – Friday 8th December, 2023 by 5pm (GMT) £30.00 (GBP) if received between 10th November after 5pm – 8th December, 2023 by 5pm.
