Fri 2019

6.30pm – 1am: Launch of Deaffest 2019 and networking party.

Come and join us to celebrate the launch of Deaffest 2019 with refreshments in the courtyard plus an evening of screenings and entertainment. All ages welcome!
6.30pm – 8pm: Launch party in the courtyard
8.15pm – 10pm: Film screenings and entertainment in Cinema One
10pm – 1am: Networking party in the courtyard (you must be 18 or over to attend this late event).

Sat 19

9.00am – 5.30pm: Daytime Events

Watch film screenings from across the globe and get involved in workshops for adults, young people and kids. Keep up to date with developments in film and media with Deaffest film discussion panels and seminars. See the latest in Deaf Art and Photography with an exhibition which includes artists’ talks and discussions on the creative process. Look out for the Young Deaffest event including screenings, award presentation and performances. Browse the multitude of stalls run by UK and Internationally-based artists, designers, charities and businesses.

8.00pm until Late: Film & TV Awards Gala Evening & Late-Night Deaf Party

Bring on the glamour with Deaffest 2019’s red carpet event! See the best in deaf entertainment, as performing artists from around the globe share their unique stories with us. Be part of a vibrant UK and International audience and find out who will become winners in the prestigious 7thFilm & TV Awards Gala.
Still energised? Then continue out into the courtyard with the Late-Night Deaf Party including Talent Competition, live music, performances, DJ and late bar to entertain you into the early hours.
Light House doors open at 7.30pm
8.00pm – 11.00pm: Entertainment in Cinema One
11.30pm – Late: Late-Night Deaf Party in the Courtyard
You must be 18 or over to attend. Dress code is smart casual.

Sun 19

9.30am – 5.00pm

Aaaand relax…Time to wind down and do a bit of catching up with friends and a selection of films. Have a leisurely coffee, breakfast or lunch from Lock Works café, then settle down for the family feature film (name of the film to be announced soon!)

Due to the high demand for the Saturday’s Film & TV Awards Gala Evening and we advise you to book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
All tickets are non-refundable. Any queries please contact us at enquiries@deaffest.co.uk
If you have purchased your ticket online, you will receive an email confirmation. You must bring this as proof of confirmation to Deaffest (we accept email confirmations shown on smartphones or on paper,) we will then give you a wristband. Please ensure you wear your wristband at all times.
